Day 2 Local sightseeing around Srinagar

Day 3 Srinagar – Gulmarg – Srinagar

Day 4 Srinagar – Sonmarg – Kargil (210 kms / 7 hrs)
Begin one of the most spectacular road journeys of the tour as you travel from Srinagar to Kargil via Sonmarg and Zoji La Pass. Sonmarg, also known as the “Meadow of Gold,” is surrounded by glaciers, alpine meadows, and snow-covered mountains.
The journey becomes increasingly dramatic as you ascend toward Zoji La Pass, one of the most important and adventurous mountain passes connecting Kashmir with Ladakh. Witness the changing landscapes as lush valleys gradually transform into rugged Himalayan terrain.

Day 5 Kargil to Leh (215 kms / 5-6 hrs)

Day 6 Leh Local Sightseeing
Today, explore the cultural and historical attractions of Leh. Visit Leh Palace, Shanti Stupa, and local monasteries that showcase the spiritual traditions and architectural beauty of Ladakh.
Explore the Hall of Fame Museum dedicated to the Indian Army and the brave soldiers who served in the region. Wander through the local markets of Leh, where traditional handicrafts, Tibetan souvenirs, prayer wheels, and local cafés create a vibrant atmosphere.

Day 7 Leh to Nubra Valley Over Khardung La Pass (125 kms / 5 hrs)
Today, after breakfast, we check out from the hotel and begin our scenic drive to Nubra Valley, travelling over Khardung La Pass, which stands at an impressive 5,359 metres (17,582 feet) and was once the highest motorable roads in the world. We will take comfort breaks and photo stops en-route to enjoy the stunning Himalayan Landscapes. There are chances to see yaks today.
By late afternoon, we arrive in Nubra Valley. Upon arrival, we visit the impressive Maitreya Buddha statue at Diskit, offering panoramic views of the valley. You can also walk to explore the Diskit Monastery, the oldest and largest monastery in Nubra, belonging to the Gelugpa sect of Tibetan Buddhism.
Later, we check into our hotel and proceed to visit the famous Hunder Sand Dunes. Nubra Valley lies on the ancient Silk Route, and the unique double-humped Bactrian camels found here are remnants of that trade era, when caravans travelled between India and Central Asia. Camel Rides are available after 3:00 PM, and you can choose to ride these rare double-humped camels or enjoy a peaceful walk through the sand dunes, capturing beautiful photographs against the dramatic desert landscape. Near the sand dunes, you can also enjoy a 30-minute Ladakhi traditional dance performance, offering you a wonderful glimpse into the rich culture, music, and heritage of Ladakh. This colourful dance show, accompanied by traditional Ladakhi songs, adds a memorable cultural experience to your visit to Hunder Sand Dunes.

Day 8 Nubra Valley Local Sightseeing & Turtuk Excursion
Today, enjoy an excursion to Turtuk Village, one of the northernmost villages of India near the Indo-Pak border. This culturally rich village is known for its Balti heritage, apricot orchards, stone houses, and stunning mountain surroundings.

Day 9 Nubra Valley to Pangong Lake (275 kms / 6-7 hrs)
Today's journey takes you from the high-altitude desert of Nubra Valley to the breathtaking shores of Pangong Lake, following one of the most adventurous and scenic routes in Ladakh. After breakfast, begin your ride along the rugged Shyok River trail, passing through remote villages, dramatic rock formations, and shifting mountain landscapes. The ride is a true test of skill and endurance, with narrow roads and water crossings, but the reward is the surreal beauty of Pangong Tso, a high-altitude lake situated at over 14,000 feet. Stretching from China To India, Pangong is famous for its ever-changing shades of blue, making it one of the most photographed places in the region. On arrival, enjoy the tranquil setting, walk along the lake's edge, and take in the peaceful atmosphere surrounded by towering mountains. After leaving Hanle, we traverse vast open valleys with dirt trails, requiring careful navigation. The steep, sandy climb up Nurbu La tests both skills and endurance. But the reward is a smooth road leading to Umling La. Riding along the Kingdul River, the dramatic, otherworldly scenery unfolds as we reach the top, where breathtaking views await. Arrangements
This itinerary is operated as a private tour exclusively for you, without joining any other groups or travellers. All internal road travel from Srinagar to Gulmarg, Sonmarg, Kargil, Leh, Nubra Valley, Turtuk, Pangong Lake, and back to Leh will be arranged in a chauffeur-driven private vehicle, such as Toyota Innova, Mahindra Xylo, Scorpio, Tempo Traveller, or a similar category vehicle, depending on your choice, group size, road conditions, and budget.
This journey offers one of the most scenic Himalayan road experiences, covering breathtaking mountain passes including Zoji La Pass and Khardung La Pass, along with spectacular landscapes of Kashmir and Ladakh. Comfortable transportation with experienced local drivers ensures a smooth and enjoyable experience throughout the high-altitude regions.
On request, we can also assist with internal flight ticket arrangements for your arrival in Srinagar and departure from Leh. Alternatively, you may book your flights directly as per your preferred schedule and convenience.

- A/c in the car will not work in the hill area of Srinagar and Leh-ladakh; it will be available in the plains during the rest of journey.
