Today you will arrive Shimla in the morning by overnight Luxury Volvo Coach from Delhi / Chandigarh. All members will meet at a particular point between 7:30 AM to 8:00 AM (at your own arrangements), where you will be met with our tour guide and other members to join on your Kinnaur and Spiti Valley Fixed Depature, Group Tour From Shimla. We will drive you to Sangla (236 kms / 7.30 hrs) through the beautiful villages of Fagu, Theog, Matiana, Rampur and will arrive Sangla by late afternoon where we will stay in a Hotel / home stay. Evening is free to take a nature walk around the area. Overnight stay at hotel / homestay in Sangla.

After an early breakfast, check out from your hotel and drive through the beautiful Baspa Valley to visit the picturesque villages of Rakcham and Chitkul (3,450 metres / 11,320 feet), the last inhabited village near the Indo-Tibet border. Surrounded by snow-capped Himalayan peaks, alpine meadows and the crystal-clear Baspa River, Chitkul is renowned for its pristine natural beauty, traditional wooden houses and peaceful atmosphere. Spend some time exploring the village and enjoying the spectacular Himalayan scenery before returning via Rakcham and Sangla.
Continue your journey to Reckong Peo, the headquarters of Kinnaur district, followed by a short drive to the charming village of Kalpa (2,960 metres / 9,711 feet), famous for its magnificent views of the sacred Kinner Kailash Range. After a brief stop for sightseeing and photographs, continue along the historic Hindustan-Tibet Highway through the rugged landscapes of Upper Kinnaur. Pass through Pooh before reaching Khab, where the emerald-green Spiti River merges with the mighty Sutlej River. As you leave Kinnaur behind, the lush valleys gradually transform into the stark, dramatic landscapes of the high-altitude cold desert.
By evening, arrive at the picturesque village of Nako (3,662 metres / 12,014 feet), nestled beside the serene Nako Lake. Check in to your hotel or traditional homestay and enjoy a leisurely walk through the village and Nako Lake. Visit the ancient Nako Monastery and experience the unique culture and lifestyle of the local Indo-Tibetan community. Overnight stay in Nako.

After an early breakfast, check out from your hotel and continue your journey into the spectacular Spiti Valley. After completing the entry formalities at the Sumdo Check Post, take a short detour to Gue Village, home to the famous 600-year-old naturally preserved mummy of the Buddhist monk Sangha Tenzin. Discovered after the 1975 earthquake, the mummy remains one of Spiti Valley's most fascinating historical and religious attractions, preserved naturally by the region's cold and arid climate.
Later, drive to Tabo (3,280 metres / 10,760 feet), one of the oldest continuously inhabited villages in the Himalayas. On arrival, check in to your hotel and visit the renowned Tabo Monastery, founded in 996 AD and popularly known as the 'Ajanta of the Himalayas' for its remarkable ancient murals, frescoes and Buddhist scriptures. If time permits, explore the nearby meditation caves before enjoying dinner and an overnight stay in Tabo.

After breakfast, check out from your hotel and visit the ancient Tabo Monastery (3,280 metres / 10,760 feet), founded in 996 AD. Known as the 'Ajanta of the Himalayas', it is one of the oldest continuously functioning Buddhist monasteries in the world. The monastery is renowned for its priceless murals, ancient frescoes, manuscripts, nine temples and magnificent clay sculptures that showcase over a thousand years of Buddhist art and heritage.
Continue to the spectacular Dhankar Village, dramatically perched on a cliff overlooking the confluence of the Spiti Valley. Explore the historic Dhankar Monastery and the ruins of the former capital of the Spiti Kingdom while enjoying panoramic views of the surrounding mountains. Adventure enthusiasts can also opt for a rewarding hike to the beautiful Dhankar Lake (approximately 1 hour each way). Visit Hikkim Village (4,400 metres / 14,436 feet), home to the World's highest post office, where you can send postcards to your loved ones from this unique Himalayan location. Continue to Komic Village (4,587 metres / 15,050 feet), one of the highest villages in the world connected by a motorable road, and visit the ancient monastery while enjoying breathtaking views of the Spiti landscape.
Later, drive to Langza Village, famous for its ancient fossils, traditional houses and the iconic Buddha statue overlooking the snow-covered Himalayan peaks. Enjoy the peaceful surroundings and experience the unique culture of this remote Himalayan village. Continue to visit Key Monastery, the largest and most important Buddhist monastery in Spiti Valley, beautifully located on a hilltop. Explore its ancient prayer halls, murals and meditation chambers before proceeding towards Kibber Village, situated inside the Kibber Wildlife Sanctuary.
Visit Chicham Suspension Bridge. The surrounding mountains offer chances to spot Himalayan wildlife such as blue sheep (bharal) and snow ibex. Later, return to Kaza for your second night stay at the hotel.

Continue your drive along the Hindustan-Tibet Highway through the remote villages of Upper Kinnaur and arrive at Kalpa (2,960 metres / 9,711 feet) by evening. Check in to your hotel offering magnificent views of the sacred Kinner Kailash Mountain Range (6,050 metres / 19,850 feet). Kalpa is famous for its breathtaking sunrise views, where the first rays of sunlight illuminate the snow-covered peaks with golden and crimson hues. After Breakfast check out from the hotel and drive to Shimla through Reckong Peo the district headquarters of Kinnaur district and will have a walking tour around the local market. Further continue your drive to Shimla via Tapri and Rampur. Arrive Shimla by evening. If time permits, explore the Mall road of Shimla between 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM. Later transfer to the Volvo Bus station by 09:00 PM from where you will board your Overnight Luxury Volvo Coach Back to New Delhi.

The itinerary is planned in such a way that while travelling you get a good time to experience the rural India and the life of Indian people from much closer, and get proper time to acclimatized while travelling through high altitudes.

Foreign tourists require an Inner Line permit to visit some of the areas which are close to the Tibetan border. These inner line permits can be obtained for this tour from the district magistrate at Shimla or Reckong Peo in Kinnaur valley and takes around 2-3 hrs depending on the availability of the signing authority for the inner line permits. We will assist you to the government office and help you completing the formalities to obtain the Inner Line permits.
Permits needs to be applied in the morning around 10:30 A.M, on working days, from Monday to Saturday. Permits are not processed on Second Saturday and other public holidays.
