Special about the tour:

The trek takes us along the fascinating journey from Darcha in Himachal Pradesh to Padum the capital of Zanskar over Shingo La pass (5,090 metres) , connecting to incredible trekking adventures of Himalayas. Zanskar trekking is a challenging and incredible Himalayan adventure trek, in an exotic and most remote land of ancient kingdoms, high mountain passes and unforgettable landscapes, with a exploration of cliff-side Pugtal monastery and such other monasteries with the Tibetan Buddhist lamas and the small Himalayan villages throughout the way.

This is One of the classic trekking tours of the Indian Himalayas with wonderful ever changing grand views of the great Himalayas every day for 3 weeks. It is a journey back through the centuries to a time when nomads transmigrated from one pastureland to another, and traded their salt and wool barley and staples with the people of the lowlands.

Prior to trekking, you get an unbeatable experience with an insider’s perspective while sightseeing Dharamshala, Manali and Leh. Visiting temples, monasteries and hiking up in the beautiful countryside of the charming town of Dharamshala and Manali provides plenty of time to soak up the atmosphere and get complete acclimatization for trekking. You will encounter great diversity of landscapes, lovely unspoilt pastoral mountain scenery, pristine villages, old Buddhist monasteries of great importance and indigenous people from the hidden parts of Himalayas, which can only be reached by foot.
